Mad at God?

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,”    declares the LORD. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways   and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8-9

First of all, it is okay if you are upset and mad at God.  He is our creator and father.  Children oftentimes get upset with their father and that is perfectly normal.  When we won't allow our son to open the door to the oven, he gets so mad because he thinks it is so fun to open and close the door.  In his immature mind, he doesn't understand the reason for our instructions, but as parents, we know what is best.  That's how it is with our relationship with God.  He has reasons for allowing things to happen and also reasons for leading us down certain paths, although we may not understand it all at the time.  That's where faith and obedience come into play.  It is difficult, but we will be rewarded for following His direction.
Consider for a moment what happened to God’s baby, named Jesus.  Do you know the story?  If not, we encourage you to read the gospel of Matthew.  In a nutshell,  He sent his baby to this earth to grow up and live here among us.  His child was fully God and fully man, all in one person.  After 33 years of living a perfect life, always resisting the temptations we face every day as humans, Jesus (God the son) chose to be killed/crucified because he knew that's what his daddy (God the father) wanted him to do.  It's only through a relationship with Jesus that we can relate to and understand God, the father.  "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me'" (John 14:6).
Ask yourself, “Is my reason for not being able to come to grips with this physical difference because I don’t know God personally?”   If you don't know him, you cannot accept or come to understand his ways.
Receiving Jesus involves turning to God and away from our own selfish desires (in other words, repenting) and trusting Jesus to enter into our life to forgive our sins and make us WHAT HE WANTS US TO BE.  Just to agree intellectually that Jesus is the Son of God is not enough.
So, if you do decide you want to learn more about Jesus and determine that you want to become a Christian (follower of Jesus), you can pray this prayer (doesn't have to be the exact words).........

"Lord Jesus, I need you.  Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins.  I open the door of my life and receive you as my Savior and Lord.  Please forgive me of my sins.  Take control of my life and make me the kind of person you want me to be."
